Description
Gorgeous Italian bureau of the late seventeenth century in solid walnut, an example of refined late Baroque cabinetmaking. The piece of furniture features a elegant and well-proportioned architectural structure, with drop-down table which, once opened, reveals an interior organized with small drawers and document compartments, ideal for storing correspondence and personal items. The lower part is supported by four turned and sculpted legs, connected by a cross-shaped crosspiece, typical of Italian manufactures of the period.
