Description
An elegant mahogany teapot in a sarcophagus shape, featuring a refined pod decoration. The hinged lid lifts to reveal a compartment originally intended to store tea leaves. The cabinet rests on a turned central column carved with leaf motifs and a contoured base, topped with four block feet with recessed brass casters. A refined example of English craftsmanship from the William IV era, ideal for collectors and lovers of historic furnishings.
